Homecoming a Huge Success

  • 1 min read

In what was the most successful homecoming game ever, the Hyacks defeated Centennial 44-22 in front of over 2300 fans at Mercer Stadium. Matt Seymour opened the scoring on a punt return while Julian Ramirez scored and was named Prime Time Player of the Game. Angelo Tanjuaquio and Terel Bellanger each scored twice, as the Hyacks improved to 3-0 on the season. As a result, Mayor Wayne Wright won his bet with Coquitlam mayor Richard Stewart. The Hyacks win was part of an amazing night which began with a new pre-game party and ended with a fireworks display. The event could not have happened without our team of volunteers and sponsors. Special thanks to Adam Isfeld and his team at Key West Ford, along with Shane Foxman and everyone at CBC. Thanks to all of you for what you have done for our kids and community!
