In what was the most successful homecoming game ever, the Hyacks defeated Centennial 44-22 in front of over 2300 fans at Mercer Stadium. Matt Seymour opened the scoring on a punt return while Julian Ramirez scored and was named Prime Time Player of the Game. Angelo Tanjuaquio and Terel Bellanger each scored twice, as the Hyacks improved to 3-0 on the season. As a result, Mayor Wayne Wright won his bet with Coquitlam mayor Richard Stewart. The Hyacks win was part of an amazing night which began with a new pre-game party and ended with a fireworks display. The event could not have happened without our team of volunteers and sponsors.
